Il s’ agit en effet , selon le ministre, de cadavres de dauphins et de thons échoués sur les plages ghanéennes qui seraient découpés en petits morceaux , fumés et vendus sur les marchés de la ville de Kpalimé et ses environs, prétextant que c’ est de la viande du gibier.
Antoine Lekpa Gbegbeni qui rappelle que la cause de cette mortalité massive des dauphins et thons reste inconnue à ce jour invite les populations à s’abstenir de la consommation de cette viande. Il indique que des instructions fermes ont été données aux services techniques pour procéder à leur saisie et destruction.
Le ministre compte sur le civisme et la vigilance de la population pour éviter une intoxication alimentaire massive.
