L’affaire a refait surface cette semaine avec un article publié par le site Mediapart. La famille du premier président du Togo élu démocratiquement et assassiné, Sylvanus Olympio, souhaite aujourd’hui « connaître la vérité » et demande à avoir accès aux archives officielles de la France. Et c’est Jean-Sylvanus Olympio, neveu du président, qui est chargé par la famille de mener les recherches pour que la vérité jaillisse finalement. En milieu de semaine, un second neveu du défunt vient de formuler une nouvelle requête.
La réclamation poursuit toujours le même objectif : savoir ce qui s’est passé entre le 12 janvier à 18h et le 13 janvier à 7h, moment de l’assassinat de Sylvanus olympio.
